What is Page Rank?
A website's Page Rank is determined by several factors such as proper formatting of pages, inbound links to the page, time spent on the page, and others.
The amount and "weight" of inbound links may be the most important.
The weight of an inbound link is the page rank of the webpage where the link is located, where the link comes from.
In other words, try to get links from websites with a high page rank!
Although Google does not publicly tell us exaclty how page rank is calculated, they generally rank sites higher that provide an overall great experience to their visitors.
Search engines do not use Page Rank alone to order their results page, but if all else is equal, Google will list websites with higher page rank before sites with less.
