What Is Link Building?

Link building is the process of increasing the amount of links to your website from other websites. This practice is generally good because it increases your website's page rank. Unfortunately, creating many low ranking links (from spam sites, or pages with low or no page rank) can lower your site's ranking. This practice is also known as link farming.

Building relationships with related websites and generating relative links to your site from high ranking pages is the best form of link building.
